Boggle

In Room 17 we have been playing Boggle. As the students come in one morning a week they can enter the Boggle Quiz, which is drawn on Friday.

Boggle is a letter and word game. They will get a 4 by 4 table with letters in it and they need to see what words they can make. In normal  Boggle the letters need to touch to form a word but we just see what words we can make from the given letters.

This game is great for letter recognition, spelling of high frequency words, and finding rhyming words. It is easy to set up and can be played at home as a family game.

Here is an example of Boggle.


We can spell at, so we can also spell cat, fat, rat, mat, bat.
