Eating our iceblocks

The ice blocks tasted:

juicy
delicious
orange bubblegum
watermelon orange
yummy
cold
sweet

The ice blocks felt

juicy in our hands
liquid
hard
icy
melted
sticky
cold in my mouth
freezing
defrosting
soft
slippery

Making Ice Blocks

We watched as the cordial powder dissolved in the water and then we waited as it froze in the freezer.

Today we made Fizzy Lemonade. First we mixed lemon juice and baking soda together. We then watched it react and bubble and fizz. We then added sugar water to make it sweeter and drinkable, so the instructions said. (Another experiment I should have tested prior :) ) They were wrong and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted! Many of the children drank it all and loved it while others were shocked at the taste! Ask your child about this experience because we had a lot of funny reactions. Ice painting

Yesterday we made ice with food colouring in it so we could do ice painting. We had great fun playing with the ice and putting it onto paper. We ending up with some awesome art and awesome coloured hands! (I really should have tested this prior, but we all had fun!) Ice painting on PhotoPeach
