Developing our fine motor skills

Today we played with a range of resources, mini fruit, cars and animals and tweezers. The point of this activity was to develop our fine motor skills, which will help us hold our pencils correctly while we are writing. It also helped us to sort objects into colour, type and size. We had lots of fun taking turns and cheering our friends on when they had their turn.

    Great to see you sharing your learning to get better at your pencil grip. I wonder if you are learning maths at the same time as you are sorting and grouping. What do you think?
