Don't do this!

We are learning how to keep our Chromebooks safe. To do this we should not leave out Chromebooks in the places you see below!

We enjoyed making speech bubbles with funny captions that we thought the Chromebooks would say if they could talk.

Do you leave your Chromebook in an unsafe place?

Chromebook excitement

On Friday the 21st of February the Year 3's got their Chromebooks! It was an amazing experience. We all felt so happy and excited when we got to the auditorium and saw piles of Chromebooks wrapped up in a bow! When we finally got to sit down around them, we just couldn't wait to open them! Once we opened them we were so amazed to see glossy new Chromebooks just for us. When we got back to class we were allowed to log in! This took us a very long time as we are just starting to learn all about Chromebooks!

Maths - Collection Counting

We have started counting collections in Maths.

Counting Collections is an opportunity for children to count a collection of objects. They might count the items one-by-one or skip-count by groups. After children have organised and counted the collection they record how they counted.

Self portraits

On the first week of school we drew self portraits. This is when we draw our faces to look like us. We then used vivid to outline it and coloured it in with pastel. We enjoyed the whole process. When they were finished we were able to share the parts we think most look like us.

Swimming

We are so lucky this term because we get to swim every day at school!

Here are the swimming expectations we have come up with:

We walk around the pool.
We have our listening ears on.
We keep our hands to ourselves.

Note:
Year 3's lunch time swim is on Monday.
Year 4's lunch time swim is on Tuesday.
