Our 'Get NZ writing' poems
Here are the poem postcards we wrote this week. We have been building up our word banks and word knowledge over the past couple of weeks to complete these based on the 13 items we were giving from Warehouse Stationery. We will be posting these to another school soon and we will receive some postcards back!

Get NZ writing
As part of the Warehouse Stationery 'Get NZ Writing' initiative we have been writing poems. Warehouse Stationery has sent us a bunch of ideas, resources and stationery to help us with this.
For our first poems we had to pick a colour and then write a sentence each that contained that colour. Next we put them all together in a flowing order and edit the writing so that it read nicely as a poem
We spilt the ideas and made 2 poems. We will try this activity again with a different colour another day!
